  • Observe – Quitely Observe the team. Look for Clues.
  • Ask – Ask if the team wants help working it out or needs a little time.
  • Retrace – Have the team physically retrace the steps take to get to the dysfunction.List this steps out.
  • Back-up – Ask the team to Back-up to where it was working.List this steps out.
  • Hear – Hear each other out in the team. Are there personal hurt or offenses?
  • Sticky – Use sticky notes to record on the timeline where certain events occur.
  • Draw – Draw it out with markers, visual graphics and in other terms.
  • Lego’s – Using Lego’s ask the group to build the perfect team. Discuss what their team is missing.
  • Care – Determine whether the members of the team care to refocus.
  • Acknowledge – Help the team acknowledge for themselves, that there is a problem.
  • Find – Find others to look in and help mediate the issue.
  • Meditate – Use meditation techniques to hear one another and find a solution.
  • Hear – Practice active listening and hearing skills.
  • Replace – Replace members of the team if they cannot work it out.
  • Mix – Mix -up how the team members are seeing each other and the task at hand.
  • Build – Start over and build a team.
  • Find – Find and identify each team member’s strength.
  • Confront – Ask team members to confront behaviors that hold the team back.
  • Document – Document the process. When the team reverts back, point out what the team has accomplished.
  • Record – Record what each team member agrees to. Sign the document as a covenant for team unity.
  • Look – Once the past is handled look to the future. Don’t slide back to where the team was.
  • Goal’s – Set team goals.
  • Set – Set team rules and responsibilities.
  • Draw – Draw it out and keep it visible.
  • Expect – Patiently expect positive change.
  • Mentor – Bring in positive mentors to guide the team.
  • Model – Model a positive team environment. Let the team look in on other teams.
